As you may have seen in POLITICO Influence, Corcoran Street Group (CSG), a full-service, comprehensive lobbying and public affairs firm based in Washington, D.C., is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Blair as its new Policy Director. In this role, Blair will lead the firm’s policy and regulatory research and analysis, further enhancing CSG’s focus on proactive and innovative solutions.

Blair comes to CSG with strong research credentials and experience helping clients understand and respond to legislative and regulatory developments. He will strengthen the firm’s government relations practice related to climate, energy, agriculture, financial services/fintech, and more.

Prior to joining CSG, Blair worked in government relations covering issues including financial services, sustainable finance, health care, agriculture, and emerging climate technologies. He was closely engaged in developing and advocating for key programs in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours from University College London, where he studied history, politics, and economics.
